Women BD Desk: A female colleague of police superintendent (SP) Mokter Hossain has filed a case against him for allegedly raping her.
The victim, working as a police inspector, lodged the case with Dhaka’s Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-7.
Judge Kamrunnar recorded the plaintiff’s statement, and asked Uttara East Police Station to accept it as a case (FIR), confirmed prosecutor Afroza Farhana Orange.
In the statement, the female police officer said SP Mokter raped her during a UN peacekeeping mission in Sudan’s Darfur in 2019.
After the incident, he violated her on several occasions promising to marry her, she alleged.
