Women BD Desk: When it comes to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, the couple never fails to shell out some major relationship goals. Apart from being picture perfect, their chemistry and romantic shenanigans keep spelling out the way they love each other and fans adore the duo. Nick recently posted a fairy-tale picture with his wife that had everything to do with their first time going to a live music concert.
The couple, who ended up getting married after a few months of dating, celebrated their one-year anniversary of watching a live musical for the first time. PeeCee, on the other hand, spent her anniversary with global icon and singer Mariah Carey, whose meeting was arranged by Nick at the Royal Albert Hall. While ‘the husband’ was away, Priyanka posted a photo with ‘mimi’ Mariah Carey as her inner lambily’s dream came true. For those unaware, Mariah’s fans are called lambily, a combination of Lamb and Family.
Referring to Mariah’s tenth studio album that was called The Emancipation of Mimi. On the post, PeeCee wrote, “The best husband ever.. A #lambily member’s dream came true…Even through he was busy and we were apart, he made sure I celebrated our one year anniversary w my fave! The incomparable @mariahcarey #Mimi — you were amazing! So lovely meeting you and thank you for the incredible show .. you will always be my baby @nickjonas Happy one year love! @fchhara thx for being my date! So fun! #mimi meets mimi wearing @mimix.”
Nick wrote on Instagram, “One year ago today I went to go see Beauty and the Beast at the Hollywood bowl with a group of friends. One of those friends was the woman that would become my best friend, my confidant, my muse, my beautiful wife. I am so grateful for our journey together so far. You make me smile every day and you inspire me to be the best version of myself. I am honored to be your husband. I love you. @priyankachopra.”
On the work front, Priyanka will make her Bollywood comeback in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink co-starring Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. The movie revolves around late motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, and is slated to release on October 11.
